Got your goods? Let's get started — this recipe is super simple and comes together in just three steps!
Step 1: Preheat and Prep
Preheat your oven to 325F. Then, grab your baking sheet and cover it with parchment paper and set aside. While the oven warms up, grab your small bowl or ramekin and combine the Station 1923 Maple Cinnamon and cayenne. Whisk together until fully mixed.
Next, separate your egg white into the mixing bowl. Whisk the egg white vigorously for 10-15 seconds until it begins to have aerated/frothy bubbles.
Step 2: Mix
Pour your pecan halves directly into the mixing bowl with the egg whites. Stir the pecans around until they're all lightly coated with the egg white mixture. You won't see much liquid, but that's ok.
Next, pour the Maple Cinnamon and cayenne mixture onto the pecans and stir until they're all evenly coated. Transfer the pecans to your baking sheet covered in parchment paper, using your spoon or stirring utensil to spread them out evenly. Break up any large clumps.
Step 3: Bake and Enjoy!
Once the oven is hot and ready, place the pecans inside and bake for 15 minutes. At the 15 minute mark, remove the pecans from the oven and stir them gently, breaking any clumps. Return them to the oven for another 10-15 minutes.
Once you remove the pecans from the oven, allow them to cool down. As they cool down, they'll become even more crispy.
Store them in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks — if they even last that long.😂
