Meet The Founders

 

We’re Sam and Christina, husband-and-wife team and co-owners of Station 1923. Hailing from Inglewood and South LA, we were exposed to a world of flavor early on — from the soul food recipes of Hattiesburg and New Orleans carried over by our grandparents, to the global tastes of our diverse neighbors.

Our roots run four generations deep on the West Coast, and it's the memories of Sunday dinner, family gatherings, barbecues, and block parties that shaped our love for home cooking.

Inspired by the memories and tastes we cherished, we decided to create a line of rubs and seasonings that captured the essence of those special moments. With a focus on bold flavors and better-for-you ingredients, Station 1923 was born.
